Paul Bowie was inducted into the Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada Hall of Fame as a Builder, this past weekend in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
With extensive experience in the sport of water skiing, Paul was an influential builder for the sport in Canada. As a builder, he was instrumental in creating a strong foundation for water skiing in Nova Scotia. He was apart of Nova Scotia's executive positions from 1971 to 2019, including holding the position of President for 20 years. In 1985, Paul designed Nova Scotia's travelling water ski school, which runs to this day.
Paul was always at the ready to give back and share his passion and knowledge for the sport and has been credited with imparting his vast knowledge and building many of Nova Scotia's community of leaders. Paul participated as a skier at many of Canada's Nationals and Easterns, as well as volunteering his time to chair the events. Influential in the growth and development of the sport, Paul has left an indelible mark on the community and the sport.
