FORMAT & HOW IT WILL WORK
- Both Westerns and Nationals will run on the August Long Weekend July 31-August 2.
- Westerns is a 1 Round Event for slalom, trick and jump.
- Nationals is a 1 Round Event for slalom, trick and jump.n (remove the n)
- The goal is every athlete can register and ski in 2 Rounds.
- Western Province athletes have priority to ski in Westerns over non-Western Province skiers. Depending on registrations, athletes from the East can compete in Westerns, for a score, but cannot place at Westerns. So if you are from the East, please register as your intent to compete at Westerns.
- Athletes must have a qualification score for Westerns/Easterns/Atlantics based on the WSWC Rulebook to compete at Westerns. Scores can be from 2019 to current.
- If athletes do not have a qualifying score for Nationals, they can compete in Round 2 (Nationals), only for a score, but cannot place at Nationals. This is dependent on registrations. Please register as your intent to enter Nationals even if you do not have a qualifying score.
- A skier will be able to compete for placement at Nationals if they obtain the qualifying score at Westerns in Round 1.

About the Host Site
The Predator Bay Water Ski Club is proud to host both the Western Canadian Water Ski Championships and the Canadian National Water Ski Championships on July 30-Aug 2, 2021. Predator Bay is going into its 24th season. The club is proud to have previously hosted 4 Canadian Nationals; 4 Canadian Westerns; multiple Provincial championships; 3 MasterCraft Pro Water Ski Events; and the 2009 World Water Ski Championships.

All skiers must be a member in good standing with a provincial water ski/wakeboard association in good standing with WSWC, be properly registered and be either a Canadian Citizen or a Canadian permanent resident.
The 2021 Western & Canadian National Water Ski Championships are subject to in-competition testing by the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport. If you have questions about testing procedures or the Canadian Anti Doping Code be sure to consult with the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport on their website at www.cces.ca or via phone at 1-800-672-7775.
