CANADIANS HAVE STRONG PERFORMANCES AT 60TH NAUTIQUE US MASTERS

OTTAWA, ON – Conditions were terrific as the 60th Nautique Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament presented by GM Marine Engine Technology took place on May 25th-26th at Callaway Gardens Robin Lake in Pine Mountain, Ga.

Neilly Ross (ON) finished third in Jr Slalom. Skiing 1 @ 38 Off in the elimination round and completing the course with 0.5 @ 28 Off. Neilly Ross also scored 9120 to place third in the Women’s Trick Finals, just coming in short behind US athletes Anna Gay (9140) and Erika Lang (10030).

In the Pro Women Slalom discipline,  Whitney McClintock (ON) scored 3 @ 39 in the elimination round. In the final round, Whitney scored 3 @ 39.5, placing her in second behind Regina Jacquess (US) 3.5 @ 39.5. Congratulations Whitney!

Jaimee Bull (ON) put on a strong performance Saturday during the elimination round, scoring 2 @ 39. During the Women’s Slalom Finals she placed 4th with a final score of 2.5 @ 38. Congratulations Jaimee!

In the Pro Men’s Slalom Finals, Stephen Neveu did not disappoint and put on a fantastic set! Neveu scored 2 @ 41 just short behind Freddie Winter (GBR) who placed 1st with a score of 2.5 @ 41.

The Pro Men’s Jump Finals ended the milestone year of the Masters with  Ryan Dodd (AB) taking home the title once again with a 231 foot (70.3 m) jump.  “This was a very special Masters for me for so many reasons. Just to be a part of the 60th Masters means a lot. On top of that to be here with my new baby girl Aria, my wife Breanne, Mom Dale and Grandma Helen I couldn’t be more thankful,” said Ryan Dodd. “A win behind the new Ski Nautique was the icing on the cake.
