Club Liability Insurance
Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada’s “WSWC” club insurance program has been designed to fit the needs of Canadian towed watersports clubs.
What is defined as a club: An operation that acts as a non-profit organization and where every person involved with the club is a member of their respective provincial water ski and wakeboard association. This is not exclusive to, but includes club members, volunteers, staff, and every participant in club activities on or off the water.
PROGRAM BENEFITS INCLUDE:

- Applications will not be processed until all required documentation is submitted and payment is paid in full. We accept online payments through PayPal or payment by cheque
- Applications will be processed in approximately 6 business days
- “Rush” orders (less than 6 days) can be accommodated, for an additional $100.
- All approved and process insurance applications will receive a COI with the insurance confirmation package.
- Due to nature of the program, fees may not be pro-rated and are non-refundable
- Coverage is for the 12-month period, beginning on the latter of April 1, 2017, or enrollment acceptance date through to March 31, 2018.

NOTE: Coverage for non-sanctioned activities that are not covered under WSWC’s policy may be insurable by underwriters by separate, additional policy and premium. Utilizing the same underwriter for possible multiple policies would help ensure that there are no gaps or disputes between underwriters as to which policy will respond if a claim arises. IN CANADA INSURANCE:
Provides insurance coverage for expenses incurred for various medical and therapy treatments as a result of a sport related injury caused by an accident while participating in a practice session, game or travelling directly to or from such practice session or game. A sport accident is a sudden and unexpected event which directly results in an injury to the insured person.
Inside Canada insurance includes “OVERUSE” coverage, which has been unique to CAIP since the beginning and remains the most popular and sought after benefit amongst Canada’s athletes. “Overuse” is a chronic injury that happens over a period of time as a result of repetitive activity. Over the years, the “Overuse” insurance benefit represents 70% to 90% of all paid In Canada claims in any given year
OVERUSE coverage applies to:
Physiotherapy
Athletic therapy (CATA)
Massage therapy
Chiropractor
Orthotics
All other benefits in the CAIP Insurance Program is as a result of a sport accident.
There are several plans available: Bronze, Silver, Gold and 500 Plus
Bronze level: $125 per person per 12 months
Silver level: $270 per person per 12 months
Gold level: $440 per person per 12 months
500 plus level: $35 per person per 12 months.

TRAVEL MEDICAL INSURANCE :
“Don’t leave Canada without it”
Travel medical insurance is 24 hours a day insurance protection for emergency medical and hospital care, emergency dental treatment, evacuation, repatriation and family transportation & accomodation benefits as the result of an injury or sickness. Of course, CAIP travel medical insurance covers the athletes while they are training and participating in their respective sport.
Travel medical coverage also includes The Travel Assistance Program, which provides international emergency assistance to CAIP members when traveling outside Canada/Province. This important insurance coverage can be purchased on a weekly per trip, individual annual plan (30 or 60 days).
Per Trip: $35 per week
30 Day Individual Annual Plans (IAP): $210 per year per eligible member, subject to a maximum of 30 consecutive days of travel.
60 Day Individual Annual Plans (IAP): $350 per year per eligible member, subject to a maximum of 60 consecutive days of travel.
