What an amazing weekend for Jo-Anne Mooreand her family at the Chuck Moore Memorial tournament at Shalom Park Water Ski Site. Jo-Anne set a new Alberta Trick record and received a PB in slalom. Jo-Anne also set a new Canadian Jump Record!!!
Jo-Anne was also inducted into the Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada/Ski nautique et planche CanadaHall of Fame as a Builder!
With extensive experience in the sport of water ski, Jo-Anne is an influential builder of the sport in Canada. A competitive water skier since 1978, Jo-Anne has won numerous water ski events both nationally and internationally; and earned many Canadian records. An influential builder of the sport, Jo-Anne has been a Director of Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada since 2003, is the current Chair of Water Ski Canada and sits on a number of committees for both Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada and Water Ski Canada. Jo-Anne is always at the ready to give back and share her passion for the sport and has been credited with imparting her vast knowledge and building many of Water Ski’s community of leaders. A highly sought after official, Jo-Anne has played a transformative role in building out the sport and has been instrumental in organizing tournaments at the provincial, national, and international level. Jo-Anne has brought accountability to financial issues, conduct, and skier performance; and her indelible impact on the sport and organization as a builder has and will continue to serve the organization well into the future.
