  • ANOC WORLD BEACH GAMES 

    Event Info: The biennial multi-sport ANOC World Beach Games will be held for the first time in San Diego, California, Oct 10-14, 2019 and will include Wakeboard and Water Ski Jump.

  • CARDING CRITERIA

    The Athlete Assistance Program (AAP) is a program of direct funding to selected athletes by the Government of Canada and administered by Sport Canada. Water Ski Canada (WSC), a division of Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada (WSWC), through its Water Ski National Team Coach (NTC), nominates water ski athletes to the program based on competition performance criteria developed by WSC and approved by Sport Canada.

  • CAN-AM CHALLENGE 

    Event Info: Every two years, starting in 2017 with the USA as host, the USA and Canada will host a two round, world record capability event for one six-member junior (U17) and one six-member U14 team. In the event either country is unable to fill the roster of one or more teams, one skier may be added to the other age groups as long as the total number of athletes remains at twelve. Canada and the USA will ideally alternate as an organizer with hosting in 2019.

    Peru will be the host of the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games for the first time in its history.

    The IWWF World 35+ Water Ski Championships are open to all senior (age 35+) members of all IWWF federations.

    The age categories for the Championships are: (a) 35 years of age and older;

    (b) 45 years of age and older; (c) 55 years of age and older; and (d) 65 years of age and older.

    Tournament Overview

    The World Water Ski Championships are open to all members of the International Water Ski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF).

    All competitive license holders who are eligible to represent Canada at an IWWF event and are members in good standing of Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada (WSWC) are eligible for selection to represent Canada at the Championships.

  • U21 WORLDS

    This document outlines the Canadian athlete selection criteria for the 2019 IWWF U21 World Water Ski Championships to be used by Water Ski Canada (“WSC”), a committee of Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada (“WSWC)”. The WSC High-Performance Committee (“HPC”) will have the authority to make all decisions with respect to the criteria.

    Tournament Overview

    The U21 World Water Ski Championships are open to all members of the International Water Ski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF). All completive license holders who are eligible to represent Canada at an IWWF event and are members in good standing of Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada (WSWC) are eligible for selection to represent Canada at the Championships. To be eligible for selection, athletes must be 20 years of age or younger on December 31, 2018, that is born in 1998 or later.

    *Amendments made to the U21 team selection criteria:

    -Eligibility period for scores was extended by 7 days from deadline of June 3/19 to June 10/19
    -Deadline for submitting results was extended by 6 days to June 12th
