HOST
Water Ski Wakeboard Ontario and McClintock’s Ski School & Club are proud to host the 2018 Canadian Water Ski Nationals. Puslinch Lake has been home to a water ski club since 1958, and McClintock’s has been running the school and club as a family since 1978. As they celebrate their 40th anniversary they look forward to sharing on this occasion with skiers from around the country who continue to share their love and dedication to the sport.
The event will start on Wednesday, August 8 with familiarization for all provinces. Nationals events will run morning and afternoon from Thursday through Sunday. The 2018 Nautique Canadian Water Ski National Champions will be awarded in a 1 round tournament style.
WHAT’S NEW
Puslinch Lake is a large lake, and home to 3 tournament ready slalom courses. Due to the size of the lake the 2018 Canadian Nationals will only be a one round tournament. The McClintock family has donated a second set for all those who do NOT qualify for Open, free of charge, to take place any time after your tournament round is over. Sets must be booked in advance at McClintock’s Ski School and will take place on the West side of the lake. Additional sets may be booked as well throughout the Nationals week at a discounted rate of $40. Family members travelling with competitors or volunteers will also be awarded this discount.
Once final registration is complete the exact schedule and format will be posted. The detailed schedule of events and more information on this format will be out in the next Bulletin.
