Canadian water ski athletes Charlie Ross (ON) Shae O’Brien (AB) and Nellie Allard (QC), won titles in their respective events at the 29th Junior Nautique Master Tournament, presented by GM Marine on May 27th at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia. 

Shae O’Brien (AB) won her first career Junior Masters Women’s Jump title, scoring 37.3m (122.00 ft) in the prelims and 40.5 M (133.00 ft) in the finals to bring home gold. Nellie Allard (QC) won silver in the jump finals with a score of 37 M (121.00 ft) and also won gold in the Junior Women’s Overall category with a final score of 2700.2 

Mickey Geller (ON) and Lucas Pinette (BC) both competed in the Junior Masters Men’s Jump prelims. Mickey placed 4th with a score of 47.5 M (156.00 ft) and Lucas placed 6th with a score of 44.8 M (147.00 ft)

Charlie Ross (ON) won his first career Junior Masters Men’s Slalom title, scoring 1.00 @ 10.25 M in the finals. Charlie also set 2 new pending Junior Masters Slalom Records of 3.5@10.75m/39 off in the prelims 1@10.25m/41off in the finals!! Evan Kraus (AB) placed 5th in the semi finals with a score of 2.50 @ 11.25M

Olivia Chute (NS) Hannah Stopnicki (QC), Megan Pelkey (AB) and Nellie Allard all competed in the Junior Women’s Trick prelims. Olivia Chute won bronze in the finals with a score of 5130.

2021 CanAm Challenge/ Défi Can-Am 2021

The 2021 CanAm Challenge is set to take place at Skyview Lake, North Carolina (located near Harmony,
NC), August 27-29. The CanAm Challenge is a 3 event, 2 round tournament between Canada and the USA. There are two teams of 6 skiers for U-14 and U-17.  The team selection criteria and information bulletin will be

Le Défi Can-Am 2021 doit avoir lieu CanAm à Skyview Lake, en Caroline du Nord (situé près de Harmony, CN), du 27 au 29 août. Le Défi Can-Am est une compétition de trois épreuves en deux rondes entre le Canada et les É.-U. Il y adeux équipes de six skieurs pour les M-14 et les M-17. Les critères de sélection de l’équipe et le bulletind’information seront affichés prochainement – demeurez à l’écoute!
